We wanted to share you the attached documents (SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS) for your review and any input or comments for our proposed new wastewater capacity charge based on our Nexus Study. As a valued member, developer, government entity, or organization directly in coordination with OPUD or impacted with the attached study, we wanted to let you know that OPUD will be going to the November board meeting (November 19th) to approve the updated Capacity Fee for Wastewater equivalent to an EDU. With the last nexus study being over two decades ago, increased cost in infrastructure have not kept up with Funds collected (which haven’t directly correlated to the yearly amount to be capture via the CCI). OPUD has needed to update its fees study and appropriate current and future necessary funds accordingly in order to upgrade the WWTF  to serve future growth within OPUDs Sphere of Influence. It also coincides with our Wastewater Master Plans for the near and distant future to align hand in hand. We ask that you please send any Comments by November 5th, 2026 by 4 PM for consideration to the Study with the Subject line “CAPACITY FEE NEXUS STUDY COMMENTS”.
