Notice is hereby given that the Olivehurst Public Utility District will receive sealed bids from qualified bidders for the replacement of Well #34’s Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) at 1970 9th Ave, Olivehurst, CA 95961. This project consists of removing the existing propriety Tesco PLC with a non-propriety Allen Bradely PLC along with the reprogramming and start-up of the facility with the new PLC.
The Bid Package may be obtained upon request from the District Engineer, Swarnjit Boyal by emailing him at: sboyal@opud.org.
There is a Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting that will start at the District Office, 1970 9th Ave, Olivehurst, CA starting at 1:00 PM on June 18, 2025. Soon after, the group will visit the project site to go over any additional items identified as relevant via onsite coordination to answer questions.
OPUD will provide progress payments for this project pursuant to the terms and conditions of the contract documents. Bids are due no later than 2 PM, July 2, 2025 and read shortly thereafter.
Bidders shall have a California C10 Contractor’s License and use a UL 508A recognized panel shop for work performed in the PLC cabinet. * Conform specifics to Section 00 11 16 (Notice Inviting Bids) and 00 21
