OPUD is currently soliciting RFB for the Plumas Lake Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Well #34, and Well #35 Capacity Increase and Site Improvements Project. See attached "Bid Set" regarding specifications and work to be done.

THERE IS A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING THAT WILL START AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE, 1970 9TH AVE, OLIVEHURST, CA STARTING AT 1:00 PM ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30TH. We will then drive over to the sites (15 MINUTE Drive - all within a quarter mile of each other in Plumas Lake, CA). You must attend the pre bid meeting in order to be eligible to bid on this project, no exceptions.

Bid are DUE NO LATER THAN 2 PM, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2025 and read shortly thereafter.

Engineers opinion of Probable cost is roughly $2,000,000.

We also will have a second opportunity for a mandatory walkthrough for perspective bidders next Thursday, November 6th at 1 PM. NOTE, if you attended October 30, 2025, you have met your requirements for the walkthrough in order to bid. You are more than welcome to attend and see the site again if you so choose to but are not required to.
