Olivehurst Fire Department's HME - Westates Fire Apparatus Model SFO Type I Interface, Engine 312, was acquired in 2019 to compliment the versatility of Engine 314 in the world of urban interface and wildland firefighting.
Engine 312 was acquired in August 2019 from the Office of Emergency Services (previously assigned to the Huntington Beach Fire Department, OES 303). Comparable to Engine 314, Engine 312 is designed to reach remote locations and access terrain ordinary Type I Interface Engines cannot. The acquisition of Engine 312 further allows Olivehurst Fire Department to alleviate the demands of continuous use of the fleet, and the flexibility to better serve the increasing call volume within the Yuba-Sutter region.
