• Recently, the OPUD Board of Directors took necessary action to address the continuing consequences of reduced tax revenue. In Olivehurst, the OPUD share of property tax revenue is used to fund fire protection, street lighting, parks/swimming pool and maintenance of Johnson Park drainage canal. All of the tax based OPUD services in Olivehurst are affected by the reduction in revenues and increases in costs. One of the specific actions taken by the OPUD Board of Directors entails a reduction in maintenance of Olivehurst parks.

  OPUD Directors and staff are continuing to strive for ways to reduce costs without painful consequences. Unfortunately, the current economic environment, which impacts our entire county, requires that difficult decisions have to be made.

• In an effort to provide transparency to our citizens, we have provided OPUD’s salaries, benefits, and memorandums of understanding (MOU) for your review.
